Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television host in America and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network, as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef, with her trademark hairstyle and her pumped up appearance, offers easy techniques anyone can master. Chef Burrell is also a veteran of New York City's best restaurants. Additionally, she has studied Italy's culinary tradition and culture, and the surrounding environment. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and eating in her early years. She pursued her passion for working in the restaurant business by enrolment at The Culinary Institute of America following the completion of a bachelor's degree in English as well as Communication at Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great learning experience. I couldn't study or accomplish enough. Following graduation, Burrell spent one year in Italy studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as in Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. In Italy the chef gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian food. It made a huge effect on the way she thinks about food. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps children with obstacles. She is a frequent guest presenter at conferences, and she travels across the nation in her mentorship role.
